MASTER BEDROOM

The main bedroom has a queen bed, all linen is of course supplied. The bed also has an electric blanket for those colder winter nights. The open fire place is purely decorative, it was sealed up years ago but there is panel heating to ensure a warm cosy room.

TWIN BEDROOM

The second bedroom has twin beds with all bed linen and electric blankets. This room also has panel heating for your comfort. Towels are provided for guests use.

LOUNGEROOM

A beautiful room to spend a winter's evening in front of the open fire, yes this one works and we supply the wood!
Bring a book, a bottle of wine, some CD's or just somebody you love, and settle back. This room is TV free, it's an old fashioned entertaining room.

SITTING ROOM

This is the more informal living space of the house and adjoins the dining room. It provides for more modern, casual living, with LCD flat screen TV, a DVD player and Video player/recorder. There is also a small selection of movies, books and board games for your use. For your comfort a reverse cycle air conditioner and gas heater is supplied. Cosy in winter, cool in summer!

DINING ROOM

Next to the sitting room is a dining room that makes an ideal spot to have a quiet dinner for two, or a friendly family dinner in front of a warming wood heater. Set the table, open the wine, and enjoy the meal you prepared in the well provided kitchen. Bon appetite!

KITCHEN

The cottage offers a modern kitchen with an electric stove, microwave and fridge. Tea and Coffee making ingredients are supplied along with fruit juice and milk for your first morning. There's a small table for two in the kitchen as well, if you care for a casual breakfast.

BATHROOM

A modern shower plus a basin with an old world feel in the bathroom, the toilet is through a separate door. Towels and hairdryer are supplied for guests use. Heat lamps give it that snug feel during the colder months.

Laundry facilities are available in an outbuilding adjacent to the house. Although a little dated they are available for guests use if required.

BEYOND THE COTTAGE

The vine covered verandahs are a pleasant spot to relax in the warmer months with a wine or beer and sit overlooking the shiraz grape vines and spacious lawns. The rear garden is developing as an orchard and gives the cottage a sense of space. A gas BBQ located on one of the verandahs is there for your enjoyment. A generous supply of wood for the log fires is to be found at the back verandah, and more in the outbuildings if you start to run low.
